Relationships, not placements.
The serious version of creator marketing — built on durable relationships rather than one-off paid placements.
The brand had tried the usual influencer playbook: pay for a placement, watch it spike, watch it vanish. Nothing compounded, and each result had to be bought again from scratch.
What we did
We rebuilt the approach around relationship architecture: fewer creators, deeper relationships, and creator-driven editorial designed to function as a genuine strategic asset rather than paid placement with creative attached. We declined the transactional version of the work — the version that funds placements without funding relationships — because it doesn’t compound.
Slower to scale, more demanding on senior creative talent, and the only version that lasts.
The result
The brand built a body of creator-driven content it actually owns the value of — attention that compounds over time instead of evaporating after each payment. An asset, not a series of rentals.
Paid placement rents attention. Relationships build an asset.
